Luis Haller is an international multidisciplinary artist born in Mexico City currently based between Mexico, Southern California and Chicago.
Luis began playing music at the age of 8 and performed professionally in his early teens in Mexico’s rock scenes.

He pursued a degree in Jazz studies at Elmhurst College where he discovered his passion not only for percussion but composing. While in Chicago, Luis expanded his expertise to poetry, film and photography creating his first solo project MIAH.
Since moving to the U.S Luis has been part of several bands such as The Luis Haller Jazz band, and Dairy Pill. Luis also worked as a journalist and photographer for The Chicago Jazz Magazine where he interviewed musical stars like Erwin Helfer, Makaya Maccraven and Marquis Hill to mention some
Luis released his first short film HUMAN = NATURE in 2017 and has been developing MIAH through short videos where he creates the music, records and edits. Luis has performed in several venues in Mexico City such as Casa Franca and Zinco Jazz Club.
As part of the New Being Project in San Diego, Luis is developing a new way of healing through drum therapy. Primal Drum Power is a method that Luis has been exploring which creates a catharsis that liberates existent trauma and tension by connecting to the primal essence of the human being.
